Connecting With Kids:

Minimize
Local ‘mom’ group is trying to get new members by going door to door passing out flyers.

These moms get together to share the frustrations of parenting, share tips, and more. One of the members is the head of the local chapter of Attachment Parenting International which puts emphasis on value of children and their feelings, also known as “empathic parenting”.

One common practice is baby wearing where babies are often in a sling or held physically close to the parent.

AP families also tend to co-sleep with kids-sharing family bed or have kids bed next to theirs.
